COOK MEDICAL CIRSE

The Brief:

Cook Medical required an exhibition stand for CIRSE 2025 that would strike a careful balance between two worlds. The space needed to feel relaxed and welcoming — inspired by the atmosphere of a modern coffee shop — while still retaining the clean, clinical credibility expected of a leading global medical brand.

Alongside this softer, hospitality-led feel, the stand also needed to support hands-on product interaction, including a dedicated simulator table, clear product display areas and space for meaningful, technical conversations with delegates. Accessibility, clarity of zoning and strong brand presence were all key considerations.

The Experience Vision

Our vision was to create an environment that reduced the intimidation often associated with medical exhibition spaces, without compromising professionalism or trust.

By combining warm materials, considered lighting and café-style hospitality with clearly defined clinical demonstration zones, the stand invited delegates to feel comfortable enough to stop, stay and engage — whether for a casual conversation or an in-depth product discussion.

The experience was designed to flow naturally, allowing visitors to move intuitively between hospitality, education and hands-on interaction.

The Design & Build

The stand was carefully zoned to support multiple engagement styles while maintaining a cohesive visual language throughout.

A coffee-led hospitality counter formed a key arrival point, reinforcing the relaxed, café-style feel and encouraging informal conversations. Integrated lighting and clean detailing ensured the counter remained aligned with Cook Medical’s clinical brand standards.

At the heart of the stand, a dedicated simulator table created a clear focal point for hands-on engagement. Positioned to allow comfortable circulation and visibility, this area enabled delegates to interact directly with Cook Medical’s products in a practical, educational setting.

Product display counters and shelving were thoughtfully integrated, ensuring devices were clearly presented and easily accessible without cluttering the space. A large LED wall and lightboxes supported brand storytelling and visual impact, while maintaining a clean, professional aesthetic .

To soften the environment and introduce warmth, acoustic timber slatted walls and timber cladding were incorporated throughout the stand. These elements not only added texture and visual interest, but also helped balance the clinical nature of the products with a more human, approachable atmosphere.

A discreet store room was built into the rear of the stand, providing essential back-of-house functionality and keeping the public areas clear and uncluttered. Ramped access ensured the stand was fully inclusive and accessible for all visitors.

Branding was applied through a combination of 3D logos, illuminated graphics and clean architectural detailing, ensuring strong visibility without overwhelming the space.

The Result

The finished stand delivered a calm, confident presence at CIRSE 2025 — successfully blending coffee-shop comfort with medical precision.

Delegates were drawn in by the welcoming atmosphere and stayed to engage with the simulator, products and Cook Medical team. The thoughtful zoning supported both informal conversations and more technical, in-depth discussions, while the material palette reinforced trust, quality and professionalism.

By softening the clinical environment without diluting brand authority, the stand created a more human exhibition experience — one that encouraged longer dwell time, deeper engagement and meaningful interaction with Cook Medical’s products and expertise.
