The Brief:
Mandate Wire required a 6m x 4m exhibition stand for the PLSA Annual Conference that would do more than simply display messaging. The objective was to create an engaging, immersive environment that encouraged delegates to stop, interact and stay — combining hospitality, product demonstration and playful interaction within a compact footprint.
The stand needed to balance strong brand visibility with openness, ensuring it felt approachable and social, while also supporting more focused conversations and demonstrations when required.
The Concept:
The concept centred on creating a stand that felt lively, flexible and people-focused — a space where delegates could naturally gather, interact and engage with the Mandate Wire brand.
By blending informal hospitality with interactive elements and clearly defined zones, the stand was designed to appeal to a broad range of delegates, encouraging authentic conversations rather than formal sales interactions.

The Design & Build
The layout was carefully planned to maximise impact and functionality within the 6m x 4m footprint, creating multiple engagement opportunities without overcrowding the space.
On the right-hand side of the stand, a 3.5m x 2.5m illuminated lightbox delivered bold brand messaging and ensured strong visibility across the exhibition hall. Positioned in front of this was a bespoke L-shaped bar, designed as a social hub for the stand. Fully brandable and fitted with under-counter refrigeration, storage and a beer pump, the bar encouraged relaxed interaction and hospitality-led engagement. Integrated LED lighting beneath the worktop added a premium finish, illuminating the branded graphics below and enhancing the overall visual appeal.
Two poseur-height tables were positioned within the open plan area, allowing delegates to gather informally while keeping the stand layout intentionally open to promote movement and natural conversation.
To the left of the stand, a bespoke LED-lit dividing screen created two clearly defined yet connected zones. At the front, a dedicated gaming area housed the much-anticipated claw grab machine, reintroduced following its popularity at the previous year’s event. Fully brandable and stocked with merchandise, the machine proved to be a powerful engagement tool — drawing delegates in, sparking conversation and adding an element of fun to the stand experience.
The Result
The finished stand delivered a dynamic, engaging presence at the PLSA Annual Conference. By combining hospitality, interaction and flexibility within a well-zoned layout, the design successfully attracted delegates, encouraged participation and supported meaningful conversations.
The blend of open social space, playful gaming and more focused demo areas ensured the stand could adapt throughout the event — appealing to different delegate types and engagement styles. The result was an exhibition environment that felt energetic, approachable and memorable, reinforcing Mandate Wire’s brand presence and leaving a lasting impression on visitors.
